Two women having a conversation in a cozy living room with large window showing a garden. One woman, wearing a black turtleneck, sits in a gray armchair holding a notepad, while the other, dressed in black, faces her partially visible. There is a wooden table with a plant, tissue box, and mug between them. Bookshelf, lamp, and colorful picture on the wall are also visible.

Trauma Therapy That Helps You Heal

Do you feel lost, stuck, or alone? You might not have the words for what you've been through, but you know something needs to change. This is a space where that change can begin, at your own pace, with someone who will actually listen.

A woman with shoulder-length dark hair and a red dress sitting in a restaurant with wooden and wicker furnishings. She is smiling, wearing a heart-shaped necklace, and has a smartwatch on her left wrist. Behind her, there is a large window with closed blinds and a reflection of a person outside. There is a plate with napkins on the table in the foreground.

Healing occurs within the therapeutic relationship

I offer relational and process-oriented therapy that is trauma-informed, queer-affirmative and neurodivergent-affirmative. I work with trauma, including complex trauma, and conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more. I approach trauma healing through a psychodynamic lens, where I go deep into the past and investigate the origins of your present day concerns, while also exploring relationships and unconscious patterns in your life. I also utilize somatic experiencing in my work, incorporating nervous system healing and raising awareness and a connection to your body.

Populations I serve

  • I work with people who have experienced some kind of trauma or stressful experience in their lives. Trauma can have a great impact on body, mind, and soul, and I work on addressing these components of healing together.

  • Do you find yourself easily affected by the world around you? If you have intense emotions and strong sensory processing needs, I can help you raise awareness of your sensitivity, find empowerment in this trait, and find ways to manage the ‘downsides’ of being HSP.

  • I work with individuals (diagnosed or not) with ADHD and autism. I support in navigating the unique challenges of being neurodivergent, or differently wired, in a neurotypical world.

  • I work with individuals who want to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma in their families. Whether there is abuse or general unhealthy patterns, we work together to unlearn and untangle these patterns.

  • Eldest daughters or adults who were parentified as children often experience a greater sense of responsibility, weight of their decisions, and burden of caretaking. This can lead to long-term perfectionism, health issues, and more.

  • Having lived in six countries, I know what it’s like first-hand to be a stranger in your own country (or a new country) after navigating life abroad. I work with the unique challenges an expat or NRI might face as they settle into India.

  • I specialize in supporting therapists with their own personal mental health struggles succeed in the work they do. I offer two formats of this: a six week group for therapists, and a two-day six hour total individual intensive session.
